Meetings, meetings, meetings

Dear friends how is it going?! As you can see from the title of my email it is going to be a wild email!!! So buckle up buttercups cause I'm gonna take you on an adventure! Highlights: - Quite literally I'm not joking about meetings we had one on Tuesday (MLC), Friday (CDC), Saturday and Sunday (General Conference)! So many meetings but so spirit filled!  - In between all of that we were in Milwaukee for 5 days and on exchanges with the West Allís Elders and the Milwaukee Spanish Elders aka my home😏! Those were super hype! In Milwaukee Spanish I got to go see all the wonderful members, ride bikes in the streets of Milwaukee, and watch General Conference where my mission began!!!  - In total spent about 3 hrs in our area and the Lord blessed us with some really amazing people to teach in those 3 hours! We just decided let's go knock and bang! 4 new friends to teach! Like God is so good!  - We have a friend named Juan who is super elect! We had a lesson with him and my boy

Hey ya'll so it's been a min but just wanted to reach out see how you have been and share a little bit about what happened this past week!  Highlights:  - Okay so we had MLC which was so much fun! We were taught a lot of really good principles and how to complete our missionary purpose more efficiently! It was our first with President Hansen and it was a very spiritual meeting! - We also had CDC, where we had all the missionaries in our zone meet up and we discussed and shared the message we received in MLC with them. They took it like Champs!  - We had a unique experience with our mission president. He told us their was someone we knew, who was ready for baptism. So we worked all day and all night each day for the week and we got in contact with an old friend named Moisés, who we hadn't talked to in a while but he reached out and said he was ready for baptism!! We worked with him really heavily and he got to the baptismal interview and he still has a few things he needs t

Hey ya'll so how is it going??? So as you know from the title it was really a miracle filled week! So to begin, I would like to start with....... well actually I don't really know, so I am gonna run with it haha! - So I got the best surprise on my birthday and no it wasn't eating at a Chinese buffet but while on our way home from an appointment, we received a text saying you need to call Abel from the Hermanas. Abel is one of our recent converts and so we called him right away and found out from him that our branch president had been over to visit them because one of their friends was getting baptized. He asked who is ready in the Vazquez family for baptism and... his 9 yr old son Kevin said, "I am ready to be baptized!!!!" Like it was so cool, so he asked us if that would be possible and of course we said it's possible!!! One of the coolest miracles of my mission happened on my birthday at a Kwik trip with a rainbow like dang it was so cool!!! - We went ove

Okay so a super busy week for sure! So let's hop right into it!  - So we had Zone Conference and it was a blast! We talked about all the different lines of missionary work and how we can find those prepared to hear the message especially through members! President and Sister Hansen gave amazing trainings! - We had a long week of exchanges with some amazing elders! We went down to Fond du lac after zone conference and just tracted and street contacted the heck out of it then I got to go on exchanges with Elder Jager and man did that bring back some memories! Such a good Elder and we worked the Spanish area and found 2 new friends!  - Next we went down to the far end of the zone down in West Bend! I got to be with Elder Cole-Church and we grindined out the member work and taught some really cool friends! We also talked to a Colombian couple about the church and found out that they lived right in front of the Barranquilla Temple!!! So crazy!!!  - We got to go hit Fond du lac for a few

Some cool things: - So we sadly had to say goodbye to the one and only Kab Yeeb Lis which is sad but he will go and do some amazing things in Hawaii and at BYU! But MLC was such an amazing time! We did have some very grown up conversations about the mission but it was very much needed! We are gonna truly miss President and Sister Murphy so much and we are grateful for all they did for us and for me personally! But we are truly excited for President and Sister Hansen!!! - We went out to Chilton and ate with the Familia Vazquez and it was really good to see them working towards becoming a family in the gospel! Their family could use some prayers for sure!  - CDC was a really good time as well! We had some grown-up conversations about where we need to be going as a mission and they are more then ready to go where the lord would have them go!  - We had Carlos come to church with us and it's just amazing that we have members we have members at cause carlos lives 40 minutes away and do

Hey ya'll so I forgot to send this one out so here is a couple highlights from the past week or so!  - Number 1 we got to meet with our new Mission President and his ifew! President and Sister Hansen are so amazing! Only known them for a few days but their love for us missionaries and the Lords children here are indescribable!!!  - We got to go on exchanges with the Sheboygan elders and let me tell ya I got to go with Elder Greenhalgh and it was like having my little brother Tyson in the mission! It was so much fun! I took him to his first ever Kwik Trip so that was a special moment for sure! We as well found a very elect woman down in Colombia who wants to be baptized and meet with the missionaries there!  - So Bernardo was supposed to give a talk for the first time but sadly his work needed him to work so I got to speak in church and it went pretty well for writing it during the opening hymn hahaha! We got to see the entire Vazquez family who we have been working with come for

Hey ya'll so I hope you are all doing well and jazzy wherever you may be! I'm here to let ya know about the title of my email!  So some quick highlights of the week are: - We had some crazy storms over here and people forget that I am from the deserts of Utah and I have never seen rain hahaha! But we had a tornado show up and some of the Sisters needed an extra air mattress during the tornado so we said we would meet them at the Kwik Trip and lets just say I couldn't see through the rain and the wind was crazy but when we got to the Kwik trip I told the workers if I am to die today might as well do it here haha! But we were safe and the tornado left which I am sad I didn't get to see the land of Oz! - I have learned that the Fox River here in the Appleton area does not like the missionaries haha it has claimed a few things such as a phone and now a pair of pants and shoes as I was walking down to the river a rock decided to mess up my day and I definitely sunk up to mi
